Liquid Level Sensor for Hot Wax
We received an inquiry today from a customer whose site involves transferring liquid from a 3,000-liter mixing tank to a small 76-liter storage tank, continuously maintaining the storage
tank at full level (replenishing as needed). Flow rate: 5-10 liters/minute. Fluid: Paraffin wax at 82°C, viscosity: 4-7 mPa·s.
A liquid level gauge is needed in this tank.
1. Liquid Level Sensor Requirements: Two sensors for the 76-liter storage tank (high level + low level).
Temperature: ≥100°C (immersed in hot wax).
Output: 24V signal to PLC.
Material: SS316 (food grade).
The tank height will be 40 cm.
High level: 35 cm.
Low level: 10 cm. Can a magnetic float level gauge be used? 1. Please recommend a suitable level gauge.
2. In this application, a CYB3-3Y rotor pump will be used. The customer wants a flow meter for a flow rate of 36 L/min, temperature 82°C, medium C (paraffin), made of 304/316 stainless steel.
Please recommend a suitable flow meter.
