Electromagnetic flowmeter check

Electromagnetic flowmeter calibration, electromagnetic flowmeter original flow calibration is generally carried out under the water flow standard device.Electromagnetic induction is suitable for measuring the volume flow in the conductive liquid and slurry in closed pipelines. The key is composed of the measuring tube, the electric stage, the excitation electromagnetic coil, the iron core and the yoke housing.

Water flow standard device is generally weight method, capacity method or standard comparison method three kinds of standard device.

The first is a basic method to test the accuracy of instantaneous flow in electromagnetic flowmeter according to the definition of flow.

The second method is to check the measuring accuracy of the meter by comparing the integral value of measuring flow with the total value of entering the reference meter within the same time.

The third method is to calculate the measurement error of the verified electromagnetic flowmeter by comparing the measured output signal of the standard electromagnetic flowmeter connected in series with that of the verified electromagnetic flowmeter.

There are three methods to check the water flow meter: volume-time method (or mass-time method), total-amount method and standard table comparison method.

The first method is flow meter calibration suitable for process detection;

The second method is suitable for flow meter calibration.

The third method can be used as an instantaneous flow test, or it can be used to check the flow meter by weight.

Most modern electromagnetic flowmeters use the total volume method.This is because the total amount calibration method for the flowmeter linearity, repeatability, reaction speed requirements are very high, and the calibration device itself flow stability requirements are not high.Therefore, the use of total test method can improve the quality requirements of electromagnetic flowmeter.
