Oval gear flowmeter, also known as fixed displacement flowmeter, is a type of flowmeter with high accuracy, especially suitable for the measurement of viscosity flow. Oval gear flowmeters use mechanical measuring elements to continuously divide the fluid into a single known volume fraction, and measure the total volume of fluid based on the number of times the metering chamber fills and discharges that volume fraction sequentially and repeatedly.
